our beliefs

We believe in the God Head. We believe that there is one God who manifested Himself in three persons, as Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost (Spirit). We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God both Human and Divine (God manifested in the flesh).

(Phil.2:5-8, Eph. 4:5-6, Col. 2:9, Matt. 3:16-17, John 14:10-11)

We believe in One God, One Faith and One Baptism. (John’s baptism called for repentance of sin). Jesus was the name given Him at birth (Matt. 1:21). John the Baptist, baptized Jesus Christ. This was done to fulfill the requirement set by God. Jesus Christ baptized with the Holy Spirit and Fire.

(Acts 19:1-7, Matt. 3:11-12, Matt. 3:16-17, Eph. 4:5-6, Col. 1:19, Acts 2:4, Romans 2:4, Acts 3:3-15)

We believe in repentance for the remission of sins as taught by Peter on the day of Pentecost.

(Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Acts 10:44-48)

We believe in Water Baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ (The New Birth).

(Acts 2:38, Acts 8: 36-39, Acts 10:48, Matt. 3:11, 3:13-16, Romans 6:4)

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives the utterance. It is a gift from God promised by Jesus Christ. The apostles were taught by Jesus that they needed to be baptized in the spirit before going out to evangelize.

(Acts 1:4, 8, Acts 2:4, Acts 10: 43-46, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 19:1-7, Romans 8:15, John 3: 3-7, John 16:5-15, I Corinthians 14:2, Luke 24:20)

We believe in the resurrection and second coming of Christ. We believe that Jesus was crucified, died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day. Jesus taught the Apostles, preached and the saints believed that He is coming back again.

We believe that the dead in Christ shall rise first, and we that are alive and remain will be caught up to meet Him in the air.

(Luke 23:26-34, Luke 23:54, Luke 24:1-7, 24:20, John 14: 13-27, 16:7-15, Acts 1:4-8, 11, Acts 2:20, Acts 3:19-21, Phil. 3:20-21, I Thess. 4:14-17)

We believe in living a Holy Life pleasing unto God. We are to live a Holy life because our God, He is Holy.

(Lev. 11:44-45, Lev. 20:7-8, 26, Heb. 12:14-16, 13:1, I Thess. 4:1-7)

We believe in communion (The Lord’s Supper) and foot washing as taught and performed by Jesus on His disciples. The first communion was performed in the Old Testament times when Melchizedek gave bread and wine to Abram and blessed him. Jesus performed foot washing on His disciples as an example for us to follow.

(Gen. 14: 18-19, John 13:1-5, 12-17, I Corin. 11:23-33, Matt. 26:26-29)

We at New Beginning Christian Faith Center (NBCFC) believe that marriage is between a man and a woman as written in the scriptures. Anything other than what the scriptures teach is unlawful in the sight of God.

(Gen. 1:27-28, Gen. 2:7, 2:21-24, Matt. 19:4, Mark 10:6, Heb. 13:4)

We believe in moderate dress among both males and females. Dress should be temperature and not extreme. The focus when ministering must be on God.

(Isa. 3: 18-23, I Tim. 2:9, I Peter 2:5, I Peter 3:3-4)

We believe in the financial support of the Church through tithing, offering (freewill giving), and seed sowing. The first tithe was given to Melchizedek by Abram. Jacob vowed to tithe ten percent of everything that God gave him.

(Gen. 18:20, Gen. 14:19-20, Gen. 28:20-22, Exo. 25:2, Psalm 37:25, Malachi 3:8-12, Luke 6:38, Matt. 6:19-21, II Corin. 8:1-13, II Corin. 9:6-10)
